The view from the deluxe double room at the rear of the hotel over the bay of Tangier is stunning. The pool was warm enough for us and big and sheltered enough for a relaxing swim. The staff are exceptionally welcoming, cheerful and friendly. I had read in previous reviews that families keep returning because of the welcoming family atmosphere that all staff create from the concierge to the cleaning lady and the waiters. We enjoyed a lovely meal in the dining room that overlooks the bay which was accompanied by a young lady singing well known songs in French, Spanish and English with a really beautiful voice which made for the perfect conclusion of a busy day sight-seeing in the Medina and Kasba which are only a short walk away. I was really touched that the management did not charge us for the first night which we had to miss because the ferry from Tarifa could not sail due to a very heavy storm (I had informed the hotel of this unavoidable delay and had asked them to keep our rooms for the second night). I really wish we could have stayed both nights as I was beginning to feel at home straight away. Some people have remarked on the slightly tired looking furniture here and there but to me it just added to the homely old-world charm of this hotel which is very cosy instead of its size. I would definitely stay there again were I to return to Tangier. Loved it!

Loved this hotel - decor, ambience & friendly staff - who are excellent at what they do - reception staff - very welcoming, attentive & efficient - helping us to the last minute with storing our luggage, printing our boarding passes & waving is off... .. they have such resort & care for female travellers with children! Thank you - Abdel, Chef & 2 staff who saw us off..... :) Bat staff are lovely- welcoming & pleasant - service is excellent as are their cocktails - bar food - tapas, best pizza every & lovely Moroccan wine. Breakfast was delightful- very generous with great selection of fresh juices, cooked eggs, vegetables, fruit, youghurts & cakes - that were so fresh & made beautifully..... Only 1 of our party eats breakfast but they were quick to offer coffee & juice to those accompanying... thank you -really nice waiter in the mornings.... Hotel Rembrandt is a delightful place - full of Moroccon charm with Spanish / French influences - it's like stepping back in time - to 1950s but once you look out the window - you see the delights of an international city - Tangier - the port, beautiful beach, Medina & side streets full of hidden delights.... We will be back !

The first 2 nights I had different rooms which were not the ones I booked and then a lady manager arrived who was so helpful and gave me an upgrade to a suite with a lovely large balcony. My stay then was excellent. The staff in the hotel were lovely and carried my bags to the different rooms. On the last day they got a taxi for me, it really was a good hotel. A shame the restaurant there was not up to standard but I think I was unlucky with the chef on the first two nights as the menu was excellent and the waiting staff very efficient. I would recommend this hotel to everyone, I had a lovely time there and my cleaner was excellent.

Lovely authentic hotel with amazing staff . The pool area was lovely and also quiet . Not many sun loungers but easy to get one. We arrived very late on a Saturday night and the receptionist was so helpful checking us in and helping to solve our WiFi problems ( end of the world for 3 teenagers 🙄) . Location is great for everything . We liked it but some wouldn’t - there’s a loud Disco on Saturday night for locals until very late but we were made to feel very welcome .

Comfortable room with all facilities. Perfect view from the terrasse. The hotel staff so nice and helpful. I love the interior of the hotel — it’s perfectly designed. And despite the hotel is a little bit old — it’s has its charm. Location also good, close to the all tourist attractions. The hotel located in the city, not in Medina — which is more comfortable for me. Also there plenty of shops and restaurants near.
